Wadih F. Hanna established the Termes Partnership LLP in the UK in September 2002; he is a graduate of The American University of Beirut and the University of Western Ontario. A successful international banker for over 30 years, he has held senior leadership positions within the UK and overseas at Riggs Bank N.A. The Latsis Group, EFG Private Bank Limited, and The Bank of Nova Scotia. He has led 3 of the 4 start-ups he has been involved with. He was educated at the American University of Beirut and the University of Western Ontario.
The Partnership was joined in early 2005 by Guy M. Warner whose investment experience has been gained in a career that began in 1985. He established and managed the Portfolio Management Division of Riggs International Private Bank in London where he was responsible for asset allocation and day-to-day investments for client portfolios. Guy was previously an Executive Director of EFG Asset Management responsible for asset allocation and creation of EFG’s hedge fund of funds service. He was educated in Economics at London and Oxford Universities.
Howard Weisberg joined in 2005. He has worked for a number of banks and in most areas of banking though mainly in credit supervision, legal affairs, investment, private bank marketing and relationship management. He has held a number of executive and non executive board positions. He was educated in law at the University of Kent and then was awarded a scholarship to study business at City University. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Brenda Hanna has been involved since inception. Her main focus is Hedge Fund consulting as a founding partner of Sigma LLP. Brenda started her career with Bank of Nova Scotia in Dublin Ireland and was part of a project team that implemented a complex treasury and derivatives trading risk management infrastructure in London. From 1988 to 2001 she was at the investment bank Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette where she specialised in accounting. Brenda was educated jointly at the Universities of Wales and Manchester in Finance.
In 2007 Doug Thompson joined the partnership having worked as a Strategic Architect with Royal Bank of Scotland. He has around 40 years of experience in the IT and Banking sectors starting with Digital Equipment in the UK, USA and Switzerland in varied engineering, technical and product marketing roles. In the late 90's he joined banking software provider Misys in Luxembourg as a Technical Consultant and from 2001 was the IT Architect and Security Manager for Riggs Bank in London. He is a technology graduate.
